Roblox Build users have published more than 70,000 games, with over 500,000 people having tried the tool. Roblox shared the figures in its shareholder letter for the third quarter of 2026.
Build turns text prompts into the starting point for a game inside the Roblox mobile app. Creators can then refine the project, playtest it and publish it. The alpha test covers New Zealand, Singapore, Serbia and Thailand.
The company says AI tools were used in the development of more than 80% of its top 100 games during the month preceding the report. That ranking measures time spent playing. Daily asset uploads to the Roblox cloud tripled compared with the previous month.
The letter also outlines Roblox Everywhere and Universal Player. Roblox Everywhere is intended to let creators publish Roblox games as standalone apps in other stores. The company expects its first phase, featuring selected successful games, to launch in the first half of 2027. Universal Player is intended to use AI to bring existing PC, console and mobile games onto Roblox’s cloud platform.
