Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil is now available to rent and buy digitally

The film is available in UHD on Prime Video, with three behind-the-scenes features included in the digital purchase.

Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil arrived on digital on November 3. Prime Video now offers the film to rent or buy, with both UHD options visible on its public product page. Sony Pictures also links to Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Kaleidescape and Sony Pictures Core from the film’s official website.

The Prime Video purchase includes three bonus features. The eight-minute Anatomy of a Scene: From Storyboard to Splatter follows the development of an individual scene. Flesh and Bone: Designing The Monsters runs for seven minutes and focuses on the creatures. The nine-minute Game Changer: Directing Resident Evil covers the direction of the film. Prime Video lists the main feature itself with a running time of one hour and 33 minutes.

Austin Abrams plays Bryan, a medical courier whose delivery turns into a fight to survive a single night. The digital listing also names Zach Cherry and Kali Reis among the cast. Cregger, the director of Barbarian and Weapons, built his adaptation around a new story within the Resident Evil world.
