Steam Frame has risen to sixth place in the VR headset category of Steam's October hardware survey. Its share reached 4.13%, up 3.72 percentage points over September. The headset accounted for 0.41% of the category in the previous month.
Meta Quest 3 held first place with 27.27%. Oculus Quest 2 followed with 22.23%, ahead of Meta Quest 3S at 11.04%, Valve Index at 9.90% and Pico 4 at 4.50%. Steam Frame ranked above Oculus Rift S, which recorded 3.26%, and PS VR2 at 2.41%.
VR headsets were reported by 1.75% of all participants in October's survey, an increase of 0.40 percentage points over September. Participation in Valve's survey is voluntary and anonymous. Individual headset shares are calculated separately within the VR category.
